Thank you for all of your advice. The primary reason I was going with the SQL db was to keep both the groupware and IMail authentication source in the same place. A secondary reason was so I could have the user-option to choose between HKSI's Classic and Killer interfaces at login time, although I haven't looked at that in a while.
