IMail been running for years with no problem then Friday only I could not send mail from outlook, got an error message unable to connect to smtp server, hwoever the pop was working and I could send email to myself from an external mail account and recieve it with out a problem. Also everyone else had no prb sending and receiving, OK so I figured it was me :-) However today a coleague reported the same prb starting suddenly at the end of the day after working Ok all day. I have reboted my machine, I have rebooted the server I have deleted all mbx files under my account and still I cant connect to the smtp although I can connect to the pop server.
I can send this email by using the IMail client on the server. Anyone know what the prb is and how to fix it...
