I appreciate all of the suggestions. So far no luck. I think, if I'm not missing something that should be obvious, that something is seriously messed up. If I create a fresh list and add a user, I receive the same error. I can send an email to that list and subscribe to it successfully, yet I receive the error if I send an email to the actual list. A few minutes ago I sent an email to the test list I created and it snuck through, I followed it with another email moments later, but that didn't make it and I received the same "article rejected" message. Regarding directory and file permissions. I've temporarily set them all to Everyone: Full, for the sake of testing. What should they be set at? We have a 1000+ users and they are all working fine, as are the Virtual Domains, it is only the lists we are having problems with.
