I am using Imail Server 6 (latest patch). Someone attempted to send me an email via my server, but their mail never arrived. The 'someone' was using pbi.net
Eventually they sent copies of the failed mails (which bounced back to them) to my Hotmail account. Here are the error messages that the sender received. ------------------- Reason: unable to deliver this message after 1 day Delivery attempt history for your mail: Sun, 2 Jun 2002 21:39:30 -0700 (PDT) ; initial status response expected Sun, 2 Jun 2002 20:39:30 -0700 (PDT) ; initial status response expected Sun, 2 Jun 2002 18:39:30 -0700 (PDT) ; initial status response expected The mail system will continue to try to deliver your message for an additional 2 days. --------------- Does anyone know what "; initial status response expected" means?
