Kevin,

Thanks for the response.. latest and greatest.. version 7.1 w/hotfix..
I'm suspecting that the spell checking works for simple 1 to 2
paragraphs but not for a full page email. Email generation is just
simple text.. no fancy html stuff or any hidden characters. I can
duplicate the problem but just can't put my finger on it. Resource
Manager shows no negative concerns and available memory is around 3 gigs
constant. CPU is 90 + % available. No known memory leaks with any progs.

Possibly an incompatibility with the Java and M$ Windows.. I have
version 1.4 and the other is version 1.2. Have reset and tried with 1.1
and still bombs out after a full page of email. 1-2 paragraphs no
problem.. full page.. it just doesn't work.

Hopefully the folks at IPSWITCH will utilize a more effective way of
spell checking documents. Although spell checking isn't necessary a
requirement for email, it sure makes it a strong selling point. What
erodes this fine product is it's lack of ability to fulfill it's stated
features. (Things just don't work as stated). But then again... when we
depend on other 3rd party products and various platforms.. it's truly
amazing how anything works at all. ;)

Final note.. easy to complain.. but here is a solution: have users whom
want/need spell checking auto download an ocx that would install the
spell checking package on their local. At the time of spell checking
have the email contents transmitted to the local and have the local
w/ocx plugin do it's magic. At least if it bombed out you'd still have
all your work up on the email server.
