Imail’s adduser.exe will
modify system registry and also create new folders. Make sure the user account
that starts IIS has the right to do those things. If not… create a new account called
IIS_ASP and give it admin rights and start IIS with it. -----Original
Message----- Hi, I am
stuck with a problem for the last 3 days. I have even contacted IP Switch
directly and not a good response. I know this is a common problem, but not
gettign a correct solution. I have
a DLL to create, modify user accounts using the EXE ADDUSER.EXE. This DLL have
been working very well on Windows NT 4.0 and ASP. I wanted to move my IMAIL to
2000 server and for this I was testing the DLL. The DLL works fine when its
called from an EXE that is run from the same machine. But when the DLL is
invoked from an ASP page, I am getting the proper messages back, but the user
accounts are not getting created. Inside the DLL I am using SHELL command (VB)
to execute adduser.exe. Could
anyone help me in this. I have set the permissions for adduser.exe for the
account IUSR_<Machine-Name>, permissions for the DLL, etc. Still its not
working. Please help. This is critical for me. Regards Ashik
