Erik, not to start an argument, but if I read the last part of your statement correctly, you are saying we started complaining about X1 on this forum first.
I am sorry, but I know, and have the proof, that is not true. I sent 3 support requests using the on line form concerning the X1 issue. Each time, I received a reply that said Ipswitch is incompliance and that was that. 08:03 PDT 06/24/02 John Tolmachoff IT Manager, Network Engineer RelianceSoft, Inc. Policy isn't to be discussed. Personal opinions have been turned into gospel just because we have an Ipswitch return address and yes there is no way to track the time we put into it. As everyone knows this is a "user" community and not the avenue for official support. All of that being said we do monitor this list very closely as this is the voice of our customers. This is also the quickest way we hear of any issues. Albeit they are not coming in through the "official" channel, we do look into them. Case in point, the X1 in the SMTP banner. </OnPersonalStump> Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
