Erik, not to start an argument, but if I read the last part of your
statement correctly, you are saying we started complaining about X1 on
this forum first.

I am sorry, but I know, and have the proof, that is not true.

I sent 3 support requests using the on line form concerning the X1
issue. Each time, I received a reply that said Ipswitch is incompliance
and that was that.

As for participation on the list, we are encouraged to participate but
are
limited in where we can. Policy isn't to be discussed. Personal opinions
have been turned into gospel just because we have an Ipswitch return
address
and yes there is no way to track the time we put into it. As everyone
knows
this is a "user" community and not the avenue for official support. All
of
that being said we do monitor this list very closely as this is the
voice of
our customers. This is also the quickest way we hear of any issues.
Albeit
they are not coming in through the "official" channel, we do look into
them.
Case in point, the X1 in the SMTP banner.
