Unchecking it does not seem to work.

Unchecking 'Enable Web Administration through IMonitor' will stop the web
interface on 8181. Internally that runs as a separate thread to the IMonitor
process. If you want to keep monitoring your system with IMonitor without
the remote administration you can.

Also stop the "IMail Monitor Service" in Control Panel > Services and set
its startup mode to manual. Additionally, you could close TCP port 8181 at
your edge router if you have one.
