We do not recommend it -- Symantec doesn't include a useable command line
virus scanner, and they don't publish enough details about their on-access
virus scanner to know if it is safe to use in an automated environment (it
*should* work fine, but you won't be able to know the names of the viruses
that it finds, and there is a slight chance that it could miss viruses
under heavy loads).
