True, but most can point IE to a URL like: ftp://username:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/username and IE makes a nice little ftp client for newbies. Ipswitch's WS_FTP server makes it easy to share IMail's user database, and when combined with WS_FTP Pro client, makes a nice 128-bit SSL ftp solution that can easily be upsold to business clients as a "secure file repository and distribution system." FTP may not be as glamorous as webmail/POP3/IMAP, but I think many smaller ISPs are leaving a lot of money on the table by not promoting it more.
