Joseph is correct here - and doing a SQL trace will shed some light. Are
you able to set-up your ODBC at all or is this occurring when the ODBC
connection is made and then IMail is not recognizing Username and
Password on the DB? (this is what I was referencing in my suggestion
previous). If a dedicated M$ SQL DB machine, then are you running ISA or
any firewall stuff that will prevent user account privileges from one
machine to the next? Also, check user account and re-set if you have an
"instance" of SQL installed vs. just SQL as we also experienced similar
problems on client machines who have done this. I know it is frustrating
as can be, to the point I would rather use the IMail DB which I
understands performs very nicely. But because of other integrated apps
we cannot really go that route. Good luck and let us know what the
problem was when discovered.

Are there any errors in the sysmmdd.txt log?
Have you tried to do a SQL trace. This should get to the bottom of
the problem.
