Lee, As before, I'm with you on Ipswitch dropping the ball as far as the change notification. Two things, though:
> If you use a password you'll invalidate the messages encryption or > signature because imail strips the password out. Do not headers, footers, and subject line modification also invalidate checksums, et al.? > Plus the password is now embedded in your message, which is sent > open-text over the internet. This is no more vulnerable during initial submission than the readily spoofed From: address, which is always sent in plain-text, and the password is not visible after list expansion.
