Hello, I am having an intermittent problem where IMail just stops delivering messages, even local messages that I send to myself. To my end clients, everything seems fine when they send messages, but then messages are not delievered until I realize the problem and restart the POP and SMTP services, or reboot the server. My SMTP logs don't show any excessive activity, but I do notice when the problem occurs, imail is not processing messages like it should:
08:19 13:34 SMTPD(000000DB) Authenticated [EMAIL PROTECTED], session treated as local. 08:19 13:34 SMTPD(4CC100F2) [10.10.10.10] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 08:19 13:34 SMTPD(4CC100F2) [10.10.10.10] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 08:19 13:34 SMTPD(4CC100F2) [10.10.10.10] e:\IMAIL\spool\D563a4cc100f2f159.SMD 1300 so in this case, imail creates the *4CC100F2*.smd file but never processes it. I've been the spool cleaning utility to clear my spool directory, and have been defragging regularly as suggested by Len and others. is there something else I should be looking for in the log? i don't see anything in my event viewer either. running declude w/ fprot / Imail 7.07 on NT4 thanks! rob _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
