To all who replied.

The client is using Adelphia cable for access at work and home, has been for
a few months. No problems except for the domain "lawrencemuseum.com". Note:
the domain's dns data was just updated Monday to reference my name server's.
Tuesday & Wednesday the client was not able to access the site via name but
was able to via ip.

His work system os is WinXp and his dns server entry is for an Adelphia
server not a local one on his lan.

The Adelphia server was the one returning the ".net" appendage when doing a
query in nslookup on WinXP (along with the 10. address).

He contacted Adelphia support on Tuesday and they were not able to id the
problem. (Big surprise there) Although other's are able to use the name to
reach the site. Eliminating all but Adelphia's name servers.

I have not talked to the client since Wednesday morning.

I agree with the others who felt that the problem is with the dns server at
Adelphia. Perhaps their servers are just slow to update.

Thanks again

Mike
