Why  not  patch  to  the  latest  free-upgrade  version,  eh? That's a
prerequisite before looking here. And post logs, too, per usual.

How  about  the  T-Mobile  test with YOUR mail server, or with another
mail box on a different ISP? You're mixing apples and oranges.

If POP3 is fine on your server from wired and dial-up connections, and
POP3 is what T-Mobile is using, then you need to find out what you can
tweak  on  the  client.  There  may be some kind of MTU (or comparable
wireless)  issue.  IMail's just talking TCP/IP; it's up to T-Mobile to
gateway to whatever.
