this may be a stupid question (go easy on me if it is) - but is it feasible
to run 2 different access databases for user information; we have one client
we have been servicing for years who has exponentially grown in users over
the past year, and this, coupled with our standard new customer growth, is
causing a strain on the access database we are currently using.

my thought on this is simple : instead of upsizing to SQL, why not take this
one customer and move their user info to a 2nd access database and setup a
2nd DSN pointing to it;
I checked KB and see where 2 new entries need to be added to registry; but
wanted to check to make sure this is not straying too far from the norm....

Sincerely,
