Markus, I'm not totally sure but I beleive version 7.x is a upgrade anyway. I would probably upgrade 1st, make sure every thing is smooth, then migrate it over to your new server. That way you'll at least have a functioning email server if the new one has concerns. There is also more information in the Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ on how to chuck every thing over to the new server.
