I have run into a problem when shutting down the IMail Administrator that
causes the CPU to peg at 100%. I have looked up and found that it is
because IMail is trying to optimized the LDAP Database. This has caused
problems for me in that I cannot let it run for a prolonged amount of time
because my users start getting timed out. I let it run for about 1 hour
today and my phone was ringing off the hook...

My question: Do I have to run the LDAP process since we do not use it? If I
stop the process will it keep the IMail Administrator from trying to run it
everytime I shut it down?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Kevin
