It depends on how often they add/modify/delete/view/refresh, since that's when you have file locking issues. You could have a ton of simultaneous sessions open on the initial calendar view, then things start breaking down as they actually get to work.

Again, depends on what type of use the people will be putting it to. Completely unscientifically, I would say to keep your workgroup to < 25 users.
