This can be done by setting up a separate host as webmail.richmond.com then use the global change option in the user settings to shut off POP3 on all accounts. Problems with this is it sets the Email address to [EMAIL PROTECTED], assuming you have a POP3 service at richmond.com.

We has to set our server up in such a way that it had basically two IP's for email access. Web-based users checked their email from a site called webmail.richmond.com. However, we noticed a ton of people setting up accounts and then using the same address to POP through.

As such, we started to charge for strictly POP access for our non-Isp based customers, and physically blocked POP access on the webmail address at the firewall level. When a user purchased access we would point them to another address on the same box to supply their POP Access.

All of this is pretty darn confusing, I was curious if their was a way within IMail to simply suspend POP access to an account (e.g. FLAGS)?

Or is this just a dumb question?

Thanks again.
