I have a question about MX records. I am installing NAV Gateway SMTP security. IT says in order for the mail to pass through it and then to the imail server, that I must place an MX record above it in the DNS zone file. For example:
10 machine_name.doman.com 20 imail_server.domain.com However, there is no MX record for the mail server and the e-mail has been working fine since as long as I can remember. What am I doing wrong here? Travis W. Kind of waiting for Len to jump in here, but I am not sure if 0 as a MX record is something that is recommended to have. John Tolmachoff MCSE, CSSA IT Manager, Network Engineer RelianceSoft, Inc.
