List folks- I have mail list issue that I can't solve. We have a user that has a true opt in email list. Many of his 10,000 AOL list members are not receiving list mail. AOL has been contacted (ISP relations - postmaster) and they said that they are NOT blocking the mail from our SMTP server.
Looking through the log, I have seen a very frequent occurrence of SMTP_DELIV_FAILED preceeded by "s: s". This is obviously the problem but what does "s: s" mean? It seems to go through fine sometimes and then fail like this other times. Even to the same AOL MX. The small log snippet below shows normal send to 5 aol.com users and then two more attempts with these strange failures.
