Did this: regsvr32
"C:\inetpub\wwwroot\killerldap\hksildap.dll"
Went here:
view-source:http://mail.prudentialrand.com/ldap/hksiLDAP.asp and got no
results…
My virtual directory
is ldap
config_LDAPpath.cgi
is:
<script
language="_javascript_"
src=""></script>
hksiLDAP-config.asp
is:
FuseletURLPath
= "http://mail.prudentialrand.com/ldap/"
'Comma-delimited list
of your ldap server host names
ServerAddresses =
"mail.prudentialrand.com"
'Comma-delimited list
of the display labels for the above hosts, in the same order
ServerLabels
= "PrudentialRand"
I’m pretty sure I
have the permissions on the ldap virtual set up as specified, there have been
no further errors in event viewer other than the initial 105 error that I get
on restarts. I have the ability to search right after the first re-start – but
it returns no results – just the searching, please wait screen. Then
when I logout and re-log in when I click search addresses I get searching
please wait again – not even the ability to try to do a search. I have
removed and re-installed IIS twice.

Have you tried to register the
killerldap dll with regsrv32?

Subject: [IMail
Forum] Can't get Killer LDAP working (IIS crashing?)
I first
want to thank Christian at IMAIL support who spent almost two hours on the
phone and logged into my server trying to get this up and running. I’m
having some IIS crashes EVENT ID 105 (the server was unable to register the
administration tool discovery information…) – Which I found out is when you
have a disabled or unplugged network card in your server. My server is
hosted for me so I can’t just pull the card for testing. Is this a
known issue that will cause killer LDAP not to work?
Basically
when you hit the “search” button on contacts it either doesn’t show the
search box or when it does the subsequent search gives you a continual
“searching”. Christian was able to put the server
mail.prudentialrand.com into his killer LDAP and have it get results,
thought I wasn’t able to in Outlook 2002.
I am
running:
IMAIL
7.13
KWM for
IMail 7.1x
Using Imail
Registry DB
Declude
Virus and Junkmail 1.65
F-protect
3.12a.
Diskeeper
7.0 set to run every two hours (smart scheduling wasn't cutting it)
Win2k
service pack 3
The server
is on Raid level 1 (mirroring)
512 Ram, 2
9GB SCSI drives
IBM 10/100
Netfinity Ethernet adapters
Thanks for
any help
Marc
