Suddenly I am getting tones of errors that look like this:

20030106 130159 127.0.0.1       SMTP (1308) MX connect fail "216.177.16.13"
That normally just means that IMail couldn't connect to a mailserver.

However, in this case, 216.177.16.13 is *your* IP address. That's not good. IMail shouldn't be trying to reach the external IP address of itself.

You'll need to move up in the log file, looking for the previous lines that have "(1308)" in them. They will show the domain that IMail is trying to send to, and then you'll need to figure out what is wrong from there (it sounds like the domain has an MX record that points to 216.177.16.13, but IMail isn't responsible for the domain).
