I�m currently evaluating iMail and really like it. One concern I have is with the bundled Antivirus software from Symantec. The system requirements listed on Ipswitch�s website (i.e., 512Mb of RAM and 8+ GB of hard drive) are pretty hefty. I�m told by Ipswitch tech support that my current server class version of Network Associate�s NetShield will NOT scan iMail message because of their MIME type (although it does fully scan my existing Post Office�s messages just fine). This being the case, and assuming this is true, I�m wondering what other antivirus solutions people might be using or could suggest. I�d hate to have to buy a new and higher end server for my post office just to run Symantec�s anti-virus on it.
