> Remote mailserver -> IMGate-> IMail+Declude Strongly recommended. This is what we use here and are very happy with the combination. We are in the process of upgrading all of our mail servers in the next few weeks and will have 2 IMGate machines running as MX10 and MX20. They will then point to our Imail server that also runs Declude Virus (F-Prot engine) and Declude Junkmail (with Sniffer).
I am by far NOT a Linux expert, but give a friend of mine free internet access to help me out on this. I am slowly learning and am actually going to be doing the build of the 2 new IMGate boxes. I picked up 2 1U rack servers on Ebay pretty cheap to do this with. Our Imail server is going to be a Compaq Proliant DL380 with RAID and the works. I also have a high school kid on staff that has picked up Linux in the last year pretty well. This may be a good option if you can do so. Between the 3 of us, we keep the mail flowing smoothly! Now if I can just find my Toga... probably does not fit anymore anyway... been 20 years since college...
