I am setting up my version of Imail V6 for a friend, and will be pulling one of his virtual domains off of his V4 Imail server, and am loking for the cleanest way to make the transition.
The virtual domain has grown with several lists getting busier and busier. He wants to keep the list server and emails from the virtual domain seperate from his regular wireless ISP business. His regular users utilize web messaging, and it seems to slow down the responsiveness of the list servers. I plan on setting up the new server as a secondary MX record in DNS with a higher priority. Then when I can copy all of the lists, and names in the lists, I will change the priority in DNS. Am I missing anything in this plan. I am researching the KB and archives for anything like this situation.
