Nobody has done this? Or can it be done? >From the 'adduser' help it looks like you can change the reply to address, but in reality it doesn't work, either that or I am doing it wrong. But I can find nothing about doing the forward thing from command line.
Just a brief overview of what I am trying to do. Someone decided we needed to get a virus scanner and such for imail, but they didnt ask me about it first, since I would have wholeheartedly stood behind declude's since that is what we use for spam control. They instead bought the imail plugin thing from ipswitch. Which would work fine, except they want to charge people for virus scanning, so we need a per person virus scanner. :-/ So what I have figured out is, we will have the persons regular email addres lets call it [EMAIL PROTECTED], forward to [EMAIL PROTECTED], if they ordered virus protection. So basically when someone signs up for virus protection I get to make a new user under the virus virtual domain. Forward their previous email address to the new virus email address. Finally change their reply to address on their virus address to that of their 'regular' email address... This does work, but man is it a pain... Anyone have any thoughts?
