We recently move d our office and on Monday I moved our mail server to a Windows 2000 server running Imail 7.13 and have since upgraded to Imail 7.15.
We had to change the ip address of the mail server and we had our local provider (Sprint) make the necessary dns changes. We are having some problems with sending and receiving email. Some times it will go thru, some times email will be returned to the sender as "Rejected: Undeliverable" or "Rejected:Unknown User" I have gone to dnsreport.com and ran a report on our domains (safe-t.net and iol21.com) and I get a couple of warnings which I have always received. I did however see a new warning which is the acceptance of domain literals. Does anybody have any ideas what is causing these problems (sending and receiving mail and acceptance of domain literals? Thanks in advance.
