Dave, While I may not have the whole completed solution you're looking for, I have written an Access DB to handle account migrations from remote servers to a central server (in addition to a nightly process that monitors changes in accounts and logs them to an ODBC DB - like add, deletes, name changes, flag changes, etc.).
I have also written Access modules that connect directly to a remote mail server and retreive registry key info (also have modules to connect to remote IMail server running NT auth to get user information, as well as user mail folder information). The registry VB code could easily be modified to set specific user flags. Please let me know if you're interested.
