I have an odd situation where multiple instances of SMTP32.exe are maxing
out the processors on the box. I completely defragged the HD, I've
uninstalled and reinstalled imail, I've moved everything to a different
drive, and nothing seems to help. I'm using 2K server & imail 7.13 on a
dual PIII 700 with 524 MB RAM.

sounds like a "killer msg" in mailqeue, move the mailquue to spool/save. That should allow STMP32 to run normally, then move back groups of msgs until a group contains the kill msg
