What's MTU?

I got a call from a user yesterday having repeated timeout errors (dial up
account). Also had complaints of user getting their emails bounced from
"our" server when people try to send them mail. Plus mail box exceeding
allowed limits while the mail box was still less than half full.

7.15 with Declude/Fprot

Starting to get very concerned about bugs corruption of software or maybe
something wrong with the server or even DNS settings. So many problems of
varying type have me not knowing where to start looking. May have to get a
new server and start all over again...
