Have a question for everyone?
I have over 200 IP Address's in my SMTP Black list. And seem to be getting in some
Emails from certain IP Address that are in the list. This is how I have been doing the IP Address's.
(This is one of the IP Address's that keeps on appearing <-- Open Relay Address)
212.216.22.67 | 255.255.255.0
This Subnet Mask is it suppose to be like the above? Or does it need to be like this
212.216.22.67 | 255.255.0.0 (or) 212.216.22.67 | 255.0.0.0
Or does it make a difference? And if not, then what else would be allowing the IP Address to keep on coming in?
As I send all spam into "Spam Cop" And that is how I do my SMTP Black list, After submitting, I go through
And check out all the IP Address's in the Headers, and see if they are Open Relays, and if so I Black List them.
P.S. Of course of I submit all the IP Address's into the SMTP list, I then "Stop & Start" my smtp service.
