Thank you all for your input. It has helped me decide. Like a poster on a different message, I would most certainly have referred to the archives before asking my question - one that I'm sure you've seen 100 times before - but in the 3 days that I've been an "IMail owner", the archive has been down.
I definitely am concerned with the legality issues. Even though we are a small business whose needs are not that intensive and probably would not exceed the EULA numbers, I will be using Windows 2000 Server for the IMail platform instead of XP Pro.
I do have one more question, and it's not meant to be sarcastic. If the vast majority of the time, an IMail install would probably violate the EULA if it were run on XP Pro, why would Ipswitch suggest XP as a platform? Aren't they concerned about the legal issues also? Or is it "someone else's problem"?
