I've checked
through everything.. Only weird config issue I have is my mail server is setup
w/ official host name of mail1.colony1.net instead of mail.colony1.net. I
also have mail2.colony1.net setup in dns from an old rollover config we had
(which we don't use anymore but had left the DNS as some apps may have been
configured to use the 2nd mail server). They all point to the same
machine.. which is 129.250.227.175..
I am not DNS
aware enough to know.. but one potential issue though.. could the fact that
129.250.227.175 reverses to mail.colony1.net cause a problem if my mail server
identifies itself as mail1.colony1.net, then the recipient mail server (aol I am
told has just made their reverse DNS procedure stricter) checks and does a
lookup on my IP to get 129.250.227.175. Then it does reverse and sees
mail.colony1.net. And mail1.colony1.net doesn't equal
mail.colony1.net... Could that cause an issue?
