Well thanks for that info. Allthough I still don't see a warning on your
page about this.

Actually, it is only there when the reverse DNS lookup fails. When no response comes back, it says:

"ERROR: None of your mail server(s) seem to have reverse DNS (PTR) entries (I didn't get any responses for them). RFC1912 2.1 says you should have a reverse DNS for all your mail servers. It is strongly urged that you have them, as many mailservers will not accept mail from mailservers with no reverse DNS entry. THIS MAY BE A FALSE POSITIVE DUE TO THE NASTY BIND BUG (CLIENT SIDE) THAT CAUSES REVERSE DNS ENTRIES TO FAIL THE FIRST TIME (if you ever see long delays in reverse DNS lookups, that's because of this bug). You can double-check using the 'Reverse DNS Lookup' tool at the <A HREF=\"http://www.DNSstuff.com\";>DNSstuff</A> site."

But, a lot of people just see the big red FAIL, and don't read the whole description.

Ironiclly when I tried to find this warning message, the reverse lookup on
the site worked. heh

That's part of the reason why the bug is so nasty. BIND will intentionally fail the first time under certain circumstances, but it retrieves the necessary information and caches it. So the next time it will work fine, so most people assume that the first packet was lost for some strange reason (typically assuming that the remote DNS server is at fault). Since a real DNS resolver will normally re-try the request if the first packet doesn't come back, in most cases you will just see very slow reverse DNS entries the first time you try them. However, for tools that don't re-try the packets, you'll get an error.
