Ok, here we go.
Review. I have a list on my server. A user, [EMAIL PROTECTED] posts to that
list. Some of the e-mail addresses are bad. Receipent mail server sends a
return notice to the sender. However, that mail server is broken in that it
is sending the notice to the sender, not the reply to. (List is configured
to reply to sender, not list.) The list owner is [EMAIL PROTECTED] So the
notice is sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] which is an alias for
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] are forwarded to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] So the notice is then forwarded to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Below is
the resulting notice backup from AOL servers.
Here is the message my root account received. The forwarding by Imail is
from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to the account that all postmaster and root
messages go to, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
