My last job had me in charge of a pretty decent Imail setup, I had all the HKSI goodies, and all the Declude goodies. I actually beta tested the declude stuff and purchased them afterwards (virus and spam), and had a pretty solid rule set worked, which is probably still in use, but no longer accessible to me.
But I'm about a year behind the curve now. I don't know where the declude stuff has gone in the last year or so. I don't know how well the new built in stuff works (the bayesian filter looked promising) All I have to go on so far is marketing fluff on the ipswitch site. I joined this list again yeaterday. I'm more than glad to hear from Scott Perry, Len Conrad or any of the old regulars (and vendors) that I got so much advice from back then. I need to decide where to go and what to purchase. I'm running an older ver 7 of Imail now. Any caveats in 8? Better off with 7? Better off with 8, but using Declude? I don't expect to get caught up with a year of product developments, but It would be nice to get a little advice before spending the bucks. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
