Yes.  After installing 8.0, we had to go back to 7.15.
Ours was between 10,000-16,000 messages to cause the CPU to max.

We were told from Ipswitch support that it was fixed in 8.01, as there were
a few Queue Mangler fixes there.

The Queue Manager never finished reading the queue before the amount of new
content in the spool was such that it would start over.  That is how I
understood it.
