Hello All, I am in the process of changing from one collo to another. While I have new servers for our new project, I have not purchased a new router because once the new web servers go up, we can use the existing Cisco 2621 that is presently in the collo we are moving from.
What can I use in the meantime that is Cisco-esque? All of these damn NetGear, LinkSys, D-Link "routers" are really just NAT boxes. I need a real router. Once that does not due NAT, but actaully routes packets destined for different public Ips in a /28 subnet. I would prefer to not spend any money, but I have come to the conclusion that it may be a foregone conclusion, so the less money spent the better. Can one rent routers for two weeks? I have never heard of such a thing. I am looking for something within the next day or so and I am in the Sacramento/Tahoe area. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance, --------------- Travis W.
