I have a hosting client whose is having trouble connecting to the MX record of a vendors mailserver. It is seeing the "A" record not the MX record and connecting to the website versus the mailserver for the vendors email information.
This server had multiple domains and is working fine for all the other domains. The DSN records pulled from the nameserver come back correctly. Wherw does IMAIL get its DNS information from. I checked the DNS server setting in SMTP and it is correct? I checked the vendors DNS and it is correct. Any guidance / assistance is really appreciated.
