Nah, this is an account that doesn't go through my Imail box.

The pop-ups are from the Outlook integrated scanner on my machine. I've seen
"Virus in attachment" enough times today to flip out.

Was this thing written by a moron or something? I've been seeing stories
about people like me receiving it multiple times, they can't have meant for
it to do that!

If you get AV pop-ups when E-mails with viruses arrive, be very careful.
Normally, an on-access virus scanner on a mailserver should be set NOT to
scan the directories that E-mails may be in. If the AV program does detect
a virus (normally, most won't detect them in E-mail), it can do odd things
(such as causing other AV software not to work, or deleting legitimate
E-mail if it detects the virus in an .mbx file).
