Well FWIW,

the NC3163 is a fine card and you shouldn't be having any 10054 problems
with it.  I would ensure the you have the most updated drivers for it via
Compaq/hp because sometimes when you update your o/s the drivers for certain
nics need updated as well.  But on the other hand a quick test would be to
install a 25.00 dollar 3com 3c905 nic card, disable your onboard nic, and
see if your 10054 problem is resolved.

I've used satcom for quite sometime via my home office and can only say that
it Sux 'with a capital "S" of course ;-)'  It's kind of like exchange server
.. don't walk away from it.. RUN.. RUN like Hel$#!
