Hi all,
Today, more than client called me complaining that their
domains that
are on our mail Server (IMail 8.0) do not send or receive. When I tried to
send or receive from my account I found that the message does not arrive and
also I didn't get any delivery failure response.
I have checked the spool directory from the web interface using my
administrator account, I found that it contains a lot of messages, and there
is no pending items. I have found all the messages that I and my clients
tried to send or receive in the spool.
I have make a trial to empty the spool directory, so I cut and paste all the
files from the spool directory under IMail to a new folder - to just help
the system wake up- and restarted all the services, but no change.
I found that after few minutes, there become a lot of messages again in the
spool directory and nothing goes or arrives.
Can any one help me, my email server still does not send or receive till
now!!!
(Note: I had to send from yahoo cause the above problem.)
The strange thing that I note is that I found in the web directory while
checking the spool directory that there are some messages have the [from]
empty although we have the relay is closed [No Relay Response]???
Thanks in advance
