my reporting emails are showing somewhat of 3500 deliveries per day its a dual processor, 900MHZ, 1 GB ram, windows 2000 server 250 hostings running on IIS
no problem for imail, i think?
That's overkill. :)
A server of that size could handle something in the order of 100,000 E-mails/day complete with virus and spam scanning. Without virus scanning (why?), you could handle 200,000+ E-mails/day.
That's assuming that web messaging isn't the primary means of retrieving E-mail -- but even if it is, 3,500 E-mails/day shouldn't be a problem.
