Step 1:  Is the mail reaching your server (do you see "MAIL FROM:" lines
showing the mail coming in)?
         Yes: Go to Step 2
         No: Go to Step 3

NO.....it never reaches the server - logs never show attempt at connection


Step 3:  Is your DNS good?  Enter an address at your domain in the Mail
Test tool at http://www.DNSreport.com .
         Yes:  Most likely, the problem is at the remote end.
         No: Fix the problem.


Hundreds of emails a day outside these domains work well - and no problems
at www.dnsreport.com



Step 4:  Check all log files entries to track the E-mail, and see where/why
it was deleted.


You cannot check them as according to IMail they never occurred/arrived.




This won't always get you a definite answer, and requires some
knowledge/skills, but will help narrow down where the problem is.
