Still not quite sure where this problem is originating.

Recently upgraded to 8.03 on new Win2k3 (W/MSDNS) server from 5.08.

Everyhting has been smooth with the exception of three users who I'm not
sure if coincidentally are using Compaq Tablet PC's with Outlook2k2. I
have 150 other users using workstations and laptops that have not had
any problems.

These three users all are having the same problems.
When they first login to system, open Outlook, hit send receive all
works fine. When they go to reply or send new e-mail, the e-mails are
getting hung in the outbox with a SMTP timeout error, then a 0x800cccB0
"Unknown Error".

If they close Outlook and reopen, hit send receive the e-mails send.
But, the problem returns after a short time.

I've checked the logs and have found no apparent errors. Its running on
a dual 2.4Ghz Zeon box with 1gb RAM and dual teamed gigabit nics to the
backbone. It's hardly using 3% of the processor 5% peak and not 1/3 of
the RAM. The nics are barely getting hit at like .6%.

I've updated nic drivers on the tablets, uninstalled and reinstalled
Office, service packed and updated outlook.

Because it's only these three users having trouble, I keep going back to
the tablets being the focus of the problem.

I dunno. I'm hoping someone here might have some insight...

Thanks...
