Any clues as to where to look would be appreciated.
The log files hold the answer.
First, get some basic information about lost E-mail (to/from/time) or bounce messages (a copy of the bounce message).
Then, check the IMail SMTPD log file entries to see the E-mail as it is received. Since you are using Declude, next check the Declude log files to find out how Declude processed them. Finally, check the IMail SMTP or SMTP- log file entries to see if the E-mail was delivered.
The Declude log files will show you if a virus or spam was detected, and "-nul" in the SMTP or SMTP- lines in the IMail log file indicate that a rule deleted the E-mail. For bounces, the SMTP or SMTP- lines will normally show the reason for the bounce.
