I am trying to figure out why when a user emails a list that I have created it modifies the from line to say

from: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED]
to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I don't want it to modify the from field. I want it to place the email address of the person who sent it in the from: field. I do not have reply to list checked either. Any suggestions would be a great help.

That sounds like an Outlook issue. If you check the E-mail headers (not the fake headers that Outlook displays), you'll see that the From: header doesn't contain "on behalf of". In this case, one address is in the "From:" header, the other is in the "Sender:" header.

For example, your post to this list has these headers:

        From: "Joshua Hughes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
        Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

but Outlook would show:

From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of [EMAIL PROTECTED]
