We've been running Imail for 3 months went from exchange to Imail and on version 8.3. The probelm is people would send mail to us and we wouldn;t recive it and the person sending doesn;t get a bounce back messwage and we donp;t see anything in the logs this also happens internally when people send to multipile address or cc someone some will get it and some don't and nothing shows in the log
where useing outlook 2002 and useing Imap protocal
If nothing shows in the logs, the E-mail never hit the IMail server.
If the mail client *sends* the E-mail (with no error messages, etc.), then it is either connecting to a mailserver other than the IMail mailserver, or the IMail mailserver log file has entries for the E-mail.
If you can reproduce the problem, you should try sending mail again, and then search the log file for the "To:" (or "Cc:") address, and you should find the log file entries for the E-mail.
